Matt Wakefield primarily serves the youth of Denver South. Matt has a passion to share Jesus Christ with young people be it on the pulpit or in small groups. As a Colorado native who has been blessed with excellent organizational skills and a servant’s heart, Matt has inspired many youth to a closer walk with Jesus, whether on a group campout in the Rockies or coordinating the Friday night youth fellowship. Matt brings to his ministry strong Christian family traditions and servanthood. His mother, Kay Wakefield, serves as a Chaplain at Porter Hospital. Matt has served as football coach for his former high school team and his love for sports is evidenced in his ministry. Matt has three children: Kayla, Kelly and Dustin.
