Matt Wakefield primarily serves the teens of Denver South. Matt has a passion to share Jesus Christ with young people be it on the pulpit or in small groups. As a Colorado native who has been blessed with excellent organizational skills and a servant’s heart, Matt has inspired many youth to a closer walk with Jesus, whether on a group campout in the Rockies or coordinating the Friday night youth fellowship. Matt brings to his ministry strong Christian family traditions and servanthood. His mother, Kay Wakefield, serves as a Chaplain at Porter Hospital. Matt has served as football coach for his former high school team and his love for sports is evidenced in his ministry. Matt and Lora have three children: Kayla, Kelly and Dustin.
